Test Your SmoredBoard Audio Setup

Confirm SmoredBoard is routing audio through CABLE Output before you use it in Discord, OBS, or any other app.

Before you start

  1. Install SmoredBoard if you haven't already (CABLE comes bundled).
  2. Click Start Test below and allow microphone access when your browser asks.
  3. Pick CABLE Output from the dropdown.
  4. Play a sound in SmoredBoard, the meter and waveform below should react.

What's actually happening?

When SmoredBoard plays a sound, it sends the audio into CABLE Input. Apps like Discord and OBS pick that audio up by listening to CABLE Output as a microphone. This page does exactly the same thing. if the meter and waveform respond when you play a sound, your setup is working and you're ready to use SmoredBoard anywhere.
